JSFHaughton Design were called upon to provide mechanical design and development services to create a sophisticated test rig for the Lockheed Martin JSF Weapons Bay Door Drive System. The project was undertaken for Comar Engineering Services of Wolverhampton and involved mechanical design of the complete rig whilst working closely with Comar’s hydraulics & control system experts. The project was completed within very tight constraints and involved direct liaison with Comar’s own clients during the concept and design development stages through to a highly successful project launch.
