Since joining in January 2025 as Director of Strategic Development, Dr Ghadar has been instrumental in aligning Haughton Design’s strategy with the fast-changing needs of the Pharma and MedTech sectors. His appointment as CEO reinforces the company’s ambition to expand internationally and to deepen its role as a trusted partner for companies developing next-generation devices.
Dr Ghadar is an experienced industry leader, specialising in product development, commercialisation and scale-up, with a focus on health tech, pharma and medical devices. With 25 years of experience spanning executive leadership, board advisory roles, and hands-on design and development, Dr Ghadar has built a diverse career across a range of businesses, including publicly listed OEMs, consultancies, and CDMOs. He has successfully led numerous companies through the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to full-scale commercialisation.
Dr Ghadar also holds several non-executive and advisory board positions, including with Medilink Midlands and Industrial Advisory Board of University of Warwick – School of Engineering. His wide cross-industry experience will help shape the strategic direction of the businesses and materialise it’s ambitious growth plans.
